Today is National School Resource Officer Day! Our SROs currently serve our 5 public high schools in Avondale. The SRO assignment is unique within the law enforcement profession since they provide various types of individualized service, such as informal mentoring/counseling to students, law education, as well as general law enforcement duties to support the students and communities they serve.
